"little, sticky green leaves"

Late April/ early May is my favorite time of year in New England. Flowers are blooming, the leaves are small and pale green, and the weather is nice; it almost makes you forget how crappy the other 11 months are. I forgot to wear my watch today, and I noticed that I am starting to get a watch-tan.
